sqldatasource SQLCommand Gridview dynamically change not working...

I have a SQLDatasource I created on a form. It is tied to the
GridView on that form.

I would like to dynamically change the SQLStatement based on some
criteria on the form.

It seems to always revert back to the Design View SelectCommand set in
Design mode.

I even set it in code and rebind, but when the page is reposted it
reverts back.

Is this a bug?
