Using splint on C files under MS VC6

I was trying to use splint under Visual Studio VC6 and it is giving parsing
errors
on windows system .h files (so far).

Anyone know of a switch option to ignore these .h or make splint work ?

Or can recommend another LINT free or evaluation version which works
under win32 ?
