about session.

Hi,

I had faced a problem while using session in asp.net to trace individual
login state. My OS used my pc (OS:Microsoft XP Pro) to develop the system and
i used another pc(OS:XP pro) to link(peer2peer) with the pc. The problem
occurs when both computers access the system and session cannot identify
which computer should have the right access to the certain page.

Does anyone have ideas to solve it/?

Do you mean the ahave the same sessionid on both computer ?

Do you sotre this sessionid in a shared member ?

HI patrice,

the session id is unique and it created base on the login id.
let me explain more,
for example: computer A uses to develop an online system. computer B
connects to computer B thru peer-to-peer connection. both computers use
windows xp pro. now, computer b accesses the online system (at computer A)
and login as an administrator. next, computer A also login to the system as
an engineer. Both roles have different functionalities. but, the page display
error when either computer click one of the function on the web page. The
error is, for example, computer A click logout, computer B still access the
web page and have to log out as well because all the tabstrip are disable as
well.

any ideas?
