add assemby reference without version number

Discussion in 'ASP .Net Web Services' started by Norbert Pürringer, Mar 28, 2008.

  1. Hello there,

    is there any chance to reference to an assembly without version
    number.

    <assemblies>
    <add assembly="Microsoft.Web.Services3, Version=3.0.0.0,
    Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35" />
    </assemblies>

    Better for me would be

    <assemblies>
    <add assembly="Microsoft.Web.Services3" />
    </assemblies>

    Thank you,
    Norbert
