can I move existing membership database to a new server?

Hello,

I have an asp.net app using membership services in a test environment which
is ready to be moved to a production server. The membership services are
configured to use an sql 2008 express database. Can I just backup/restore
that database to the new server or does in contain machine specific info?

any input is appreciated.
