Cant Add reference (.dll) in VS C++ express (or, why my head is going to explode!)
Hello all,
I have been struggling with this for 2 days and anyone with an idea of whats going on gets the official status of superhero for a day. I am trying to get an open source submarine simulator called subSim to work. I am compiling the hello world example and I get undefined reference errors from the linker, which I imagine is because the .dll file is not being loaded. I have been trying to add the path everywhere I can find which doesnt work. Whats worse, when I go to references-> add new reference in the solution explorer, I get a dialog box with no active buttons and therefore I cant add the path. WTF is going on! Anyone out there feeling my pain?
Thanks
Gideon
