You must be doing something incorrectly. Saves just fine for me. What
are you doing to "save this webpage on my machine"?

I swear I am not making this up; this page http://www.songfacts.com/detail..php?id=12283
saves perfectly, but the image page won't; I'm doing exactly the same
thing. Can there be something on the page? It's not my machine because
the same thing happened in the caff.

You have failed to answer the question Jonathan put to you.

How can anybody tell what you are doing wrong when nobody actually knows
what you are doing.

And what is "the caff"?

First thing to do is to do is to empty your cache. Some browsers will
refuse to save if the cache is full or almost full.

I can save no problem with Firefox but not IE6. A new development
this.
