CGI documentation generation

I was wondering if there is a system available that serves Python
documentation from a CGI script.

I want to use such a system internally at my company so we can browse
documentation for our internal modules.

I can see that pydoc does a lot of what I want but implements a
standalone server, which isn't ideal. Any suggestions?
