Controling a UserControl's hyperlink base

Hi,
I'm using a UserControl within a Page to display a list which is used
within many different directories.

My problem is that when I set the link of a HyperLinkColumn to say
"nextpage.aspx" it renders as "../UserControls/nextpage.aspx". So
rather than having hyperlink base from the Page object which I want I
have it somehow set to the UserControl's directory.

So is it possible to set the base hyperlink of a UserControl to the
Page that it is in?
