Free or very cheap Java-enabled web hosts?

The subject says it all. I had an account with mycgiserver.com, but it seems
they've cancelled it, and they're not taking new accounts. I don't need J2EE
right now, only servlets and JSPs. Free would be great, but barring that I'd
rather pay a few dollars a month to a hosting company than mess around with my
own machine at home. Any ideas?

I just registered an account with myjavaserver.com (it is from the same
people as mycgiserver.com) this week. Are you sure they are no longer
accepting new users?

I think that messing around with your own machine is a stellar idea.
It gives you control and forces you to learn some of the implementation
details (configuration files and so forth). Something like Tomcat is
very easy to install and can be a great learning experience. If you
need to upgrade to J2EE in the future then you can install JBoss,
which incorporates a Tomcat server, and be ahead of the game, IMHO.

I guess not. I'll try myjavaserver.com
