Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by =?Utf-8?B?cm9kY2hhcg==?=, May 31, 2007.

  1. hey all,
i have a gridview that have auto columns on. Well one of the fields is a
date field which shows the time by default. Is there a way to format without
the time when Auto Columns are on?

    thanks,
    rodchar

Why not just turn autocolumns off and use bound fields?

Format the date in the select statement

    For SQL Server

    select convert(varchar,datetimefield,101) from table1
