Those are very expensive products. I doubt there are downloads.

Start here <http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/> for Websphere. You
will need to register and almost all the software is a sixty day
trial. Working out which part of Websphere/Rational you need is a
challenge in itself. A full download is huge but, from time to time,
IBM offer to send you a free trial which occupies about five CDs.

Start here <http://dev2dev.bea.com/> for Weblogic.

Don't know about Websphere but Weglogic has a free download for developers.
bea.com. Look around.

I think you mean:
http://dev.bea.com/devoffering/index.jsp

1. Non-expiring development license
2. Capacity limited non-commercial use license

The price if of the actual runtime is so expensive you have to talk to
a representative to find it out so they can have oxygen ready.

before you launch on this route, check the price tag. At the end of
60 days you will be required to come up with a wheelbarrow of cash and
you will get a wheelbarrow of printed documentation.
My post was intended to answer the OP's question, not to give
financial advice. He may be a wealthy developer or he may be willing
to reload his operating system every sixty days.

In any case, I find the newsletter I get from IBM's developer works
contains useful information about current software trends and free
software supplied by, or sponsored by, IBM.

Reloading the OS is a violation of the licence agreement.
