ISO standard C++ (the topic here) does not provide
facilities for this, or for addressing any other
particular peripheral or hardware device. You'll
need to use a platform-specific solution or
third-party library.

Stabdard C++ has no means of reading LPT ports. This is obviously a
platform specific operation and this group discusses platform independent
standard C++ only. Ask again on a group that supports your platform. Read
the welcome message for possible suggestions.
