how to get asp .net 2.0

I've seen articles referencing asp .net 2.0 but I do not
seee the .net framework ver 2.0 being available for
download. where do I get to see it?

Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition requires ASP.NET 2.0 beta, so it
will install it if you don't already have 2.0 beta on the machine.
