Hello Dave,
Here are two workable solution for your scenario:
directly use string concatenate in databinding expression
=========================
<asp:HyperLink ID="HyperLink1" runat="server" Text="TestLink1"
NavigateUrl='<%# "~/template/temp.aspx?id=" +
Eval("StockPicker_ID") + "&q=" + Eval("Question") %>'></asp:HyperLink>
==========================
Or we can define a helper function in codebehind to encapsulate the complex
code logic . e.g:
=========================
<asp:HyperLink ID="HyperLink2" runat="server" Text="TestLink2"
NavigateUrl='<%# GetUrl(Eval("StockPicker_ID"),
Eval("Question")) %>'></asp:HyperLink>
========================
in page's codebehind
=====================
protected string GetUrl(object id, object question)
{
return string.Format("~/template/temp.aspx?id={0}&q={1}", id,
question);
}
=====================
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Steven Cheng

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for non-urgent issues
where an initial response from the community or a Microsoft Support
Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable. Please note that each follow
up response may take approximately 2 business days as the support
professional working with you may need further investigation to reach the
most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by contacting
Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) at
