Integrated Windows Authentication ?

Hi,

I have configured my site to use Integrated Windows Authentication.
This works, if I
debug the site on my host (development system). I also have access to
the site, if
I access it without debugging (localhost).

But I cannot access the site, when I try it with the real hostname.

Isn't it possible to use WinXP/IIS server to authenticate against
active directory ?

Must I have installed a Server system (probably on a domain controller)
?
