Skills and qualifications:

B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Expert level Java knowledge (incl. SWT, Swing)

Familiarity with Eclipse architecture and experience with Eclipse
plug-in development, PDE

Good knowledge of XML (incl. XML Schema, Namespaces) and XML Web
Services (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI)

Extensive experience with GUI design, hands on knowledge of UI
usability engineering

J2ME and J2EE experience

Experience with graphical editing and modeling frameworks

Sound knowledge of software architectures, OOA/OOD, design patterns

Sound knowledge of software engineering practices

Experience with UML and Software Modeling tools (TogetherJ, Rational
Rose)

Good luck finding persons with 3-5 years of Eclipse experience, considering
eclipse.org was founded in November 2001, and 1.0 was released in the same
month. Are you planning on only recruiting the original Eclipse developers?

Good luck! Who comes up with these wish lists anyway? They're
totally outside of the reality most of us inhabit. Who's got
time to be spending 3 years on Eclipse plug-in development
when they're also supposed to be developing (and testing, one
would hope!) J2ME apps?
You'd better be willing to settle for a subset.
