Hello,
I would like to ask a question regarding script execution while
download or browse dialog box is present on IE7. Here is my problem.
I have a web application and the application is aware of user
inactivity just like banking type of application. So if I don't do
anything, after about 20 minutes, a function gets run by setTimeout.
Well, this doesn't happen when I have download dialog box is present.
The symptom is that when I dismiss the dialogbox, and click on a
hyperlink, I can still navigate the web application around. But if I
click on somewhere other than hyperlink, for example, a blank part of
the web page, the script execution starts back up and the application
logs me out of it.
I know this can user training issue, but at least I would like to make
an effort to ask the expert people around.
Any ideas?
