JRE 1.2 - Windows 2000 Server SP4 Issues?

Hello,

Is there an issue w/ JRE 1.2 running on a Windows 2000 Server SP4? We
have a Dell 2650 (Dual 3 Ghz Xeon Processors), running a Windows
Service that uses JRE 1.2, that will not run on this box. The error
that Dr. Watson provides is as follows: Java.exe "The instruction at
"0x500bf974" referenced memory at "0x00000e7f". The memory could not
be "Read". Click on OK to terminate the program.

If we disable Dr. Watson, the service starts up fine. We have another
box running Windows 2000 SP3 (Quad 700 Mhz PIII processors) with no
issues.

JRE 1.2 had issues with P4 processors. Make sure that you have latest version
of 1.2 and test again.
