I recently got an iPod and have been fooling around with some of the
iPod tools for Linux. None really did what I want so I started to hack
on a ruby based syncer script. The major stumbling block is that the
iPod has a complex db file it uses to find files on disk along with
their meta info. I found a library to manipulate this
(http://libitunesdb.sourceforge.net/), but there are no Ruby bindings
for it. Anyone already tried their hand and writing one?
