machineKey values: how?

T

TK

How can I get my unique key values for the "validationkey" and
"decryptionkey" attributes in a <machineKey> element in my web.config?
Is there any tools I can use for?

Any input would be highly appreciated.

TK,

We have sample code for that in the following articles:

312906 HOW TO: Create Keys by Using Visual C# .NET for Use in Forms
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=312906

313091 HOW TO: Create Keys by Using Visual Basic .NET for Use in Forms
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=313091

Note that these articles refer to Forms authentication, but the same
applies to any use of the <machineKey> element.
