multithreading

Hi
I have written a program which receives mails from server using POP3 in
ASP.NET . it's downloading sequentially. now i want to use the
multithreading in this regard where i can create threads for each and every
mail...and download those mails simultaneously.
if u have any idea please help me out.

Creating a single thread for each asychronous task you want to perform is
dangerous for scalability. Since your ASP.NET code is already running in
the CLR threadpool, you should use your own thread pool. Mike Woording has
a great one:
