Pass Membership API Variables to Form Control

I have some id data I inserted into the "Comments" field of MembershipUser. I
need to use the comments value as SqlDataSource Parameter data but I am not
sure of the best approach. I was thinking of trying to send the data to a
control on the form and use the controlParameter but I don't know how...

Any help would be fantastic....thanks
