petstore 1. 4 demo

Hello:

Need some pointers here regarding the petstore demo.
I got it downloaded and running. Yeah
Good start right?!?

First how much difference is there between petstore 1.4 and 1.3x.
From what I could gather from the What's new file, ignoring
internationalization there is not much difference.

Where can I find the "Cliff notes" for the Petstore demo?
I do not mind wading through the code, but there has to be a guide
somewhere. Or simply put "Now what" -or- "Where do I start?"
