Indeed. And my provider still postponing to set up a news support.
I suggest to use a "two-tier" scheme.
I'm reading news from <freenews.netfront.net> read-only news server (it
updates immediately) and I'm posting using Google.
I noticed that new posts appear on freenews.netfront.net immediately
(same for other news mirrors). But it takes 1 to 10 min to them to
appear in Google threads. So the problem is not with slow posting on
news servers. Google fails to update their own copies of threads.
