prob with server.transfer

hi

whenver i redirect the user to another page with server.transfer .... iam
uble to retrieve the forms colllection values .... iam uding
server.transfer("page", true)
and i ahve also kept EnableViewStateMac == false .... my contorls from the
main page are getting populated from the database retierved values .....
does server.transfer only preserve values of the forms collection when the
user gives input ... how can i use the values dispalyed to the user in the
next page
