problems with commons-digester.jar in tomcat

Hi,

I try to work with jsf. For running the tutorial its recommended to
use the commons-digester.jar. But if I have the jar-file in the
common/lib- directory and restart tomcat the digester- class is
throwing an Exception that the StandardServer- class is not found. So
it isn't impossible to start tomcat as long as this file is in the
directory. Still I like to use this jar-file.

Does anybody has an idea
