    I am having fits trying to modify jpg's and have them in the project. The
    jpg in question keeps being dropped from the project with no notification.
    I can add the file back to the project and open it. The image is different
    than the one which is used when I use that image as the background image for
    a page.

    I am very confused as to what is happening.

    I can view the image in browser and it is ok. I have had lots of similar
    problems with old versions of things comming back to the project. I am
    using VSS and VS 2003.
