[QUIZ] Seeking a new Quizmaster

Dear Rubyists,

You may have noticed a substantial drop off in Ruby Quizzes over the
past few months. I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth, but with
my current projects I'm unable to make time for administering Ruby
Quiz. It is with some sadness but with many fond memories that I'm
resigning from the role of Quizmaster.

There were some good ones

educational and enjoyable for me, and I hope I was able to educate and

A special thanks to the people who submitted quiz ideas, everyone who
submitted responses, and the people who stepped in to write the
occasional summary.

Well, is somebody interested in becoming the next Quizmaster ?

The problem nowadays is likely to find good challenges which appeal
Rubyists on the list I think.
That is harder because they are already many quizzes (234 ! awesome !).

I often wanted to solve old quizzes, which were done before I was on the ML.
While I did some for myself, I did not post the solution to these old mails.

Maybe some of the most interesting and the oldest quizzes should be
"opened" again and we could see what kind of solutions we come to with
a newer Ruby and community.
Thoughts ?

Well, is somebody interested in becoming the next Quizmaster ?

The problem nowadays is likely to find good challenges which appeal
Rubyists on the list I think.
That is harder because they are already many quizzes (234 ! awesome !).

I will not volunteer to be a quizmaster, because my free time tends to
happen in irregular bursts, but I will gladly contribute quizzes to
whoever does step up. In fact, if someone wants to put together a
*team* of quizmasters to handle the various aspects of the thing
(administration, coordination, setting and summaries), I'll sign up as
the "official" quiz setter, supplying a quiz in any week that we don't
have a guest submission.
