refreshing main window after editing in popup

Hi all

i have 3 popup windows, in which i can add, edit and
delete records from a table, now after user is done, i
want to refresh main window, i am using
window.opener.form1.btnRefresh.click(), and have handler
in codebehind which refreshes dataset, this works. One and
only problem is that this button is visible, and i dont
want user to see this button

i applied btnRefresh {display:none} , but it doesnt work
my button is :
<asp:Button CssClass="cssBtn" ID="btnDSCleaner"
Runat="server"></asp:Button>

are there any better ways of refreshing opener window,
than this javascript tricks ?

or is there any possibility of hiding this button (Visible
attribute is not a solution, because then button would not
be rendered at all), what i want is that there is a
button, but not visible to user

many thanks in adnvace

See if
window.opener.form1.submit();
will work for you.

actually i am keeping my dataset in viewstate, and handler
procedure that handles that button clicks, removes dataset
from viewstate, so when queried next time, it will get
fresh data from database, so it is not the solution in my
case ( i could of course refresh dataset each round-trip,
but think it would be not efficient)
