RSA Certificates

Hi,

My Applet need to be signed because I will connect to an Oracle
Database and perform some transactions into my corporate Intranet
only. Do I need a RSA certificate from VeriSign or Thawte? If not, I
would like to know the steps I should follow to sign my Applet(s).
Running as an application, a policy file works fine but not as an
Applet (exception errors...).

If you can get to the cert files on the server you can add a chain
pointing to a self signed cert as trusted. If not, you will have to use
a CA that the server trusts.
