I am working on a search engine.
An aspx page shows some data. The user will type something in and click a
button to search.
I want to create a server solution for the search engine. So the search
string will go back to server and the server
will perform the search. There are three possible situations for the result
of the seaarch.
No data, a single entry, multiple entries. For first two it's simple but for
third one I would need to show
multiple results of the search in a new page that the user can choose from.
How can I raise a new aspx page or a new modal dialog (I would really need
that)?
After the user selects a data from that page how would I communicate that to
the main page?
