Servlets/JSPs on HTTP resp HTTPS

Best groupmember,

I am creating a site with Servlets and JSPs. One of the subsites will
need to be run under HTTPS.

My questions:

Is there anything special that I need to care about when I am going
from HTTP to HTTPS? My assumtions is that I don't need to care, it is
just the tranferprotocol that is changing, are my assumptions right?

The only thing is that the files för the HTTPS will be located in a
different folder connected to the HTTPS-server!?

The only "gotcha!" is that, since you're changing the protocol, you
can't just forward. You have to redirect to force the user's browser
to make a new request with other protocol. Same with switching back.
