SPAM levels

I have noticed that there is a LOT more SPAM in comp.lang.vhdl than
there is in c.l.verilog.

Is this some kind of RTL war conspiracy, or does VHDL translate into
"SPAM me please" in some language?

It is indeed very annoying. Initially I thought that perhaps moderation might
help but after reading the blog below this doesn't seems a good option either.

Read the "End Game" section, very worrying.

What we need is to give a few regular comp.lang.vhdl users the power to delete
spam, unfortunately as far as I know usenet doesn't have this capability.
