URLs not local to user controls

I have a header and footer user control that both reference images. I then
include the user controls in a default home page. All are at the root of the
application and all works fine from the browser. However, when I add the
header and footer user control to a web page that is in a sub-directory the
images can no longer be found via the browser.

How can I fix these URLs so that when the user controls are rendered, the
images are checked to be in the same folder as the user control, not in the
folder of the web page?

I have resolved this issue. I just needed to use ASP.Net image controls
rather than raw HTML ones! Doh!

Thanks for your advice anyway.
