Hi,
After I installed the latest .NET service pack any form that included
validation failed to run properly. I updated the client scripts with
aspnet_regiis -c, but some browsers still failed to work unless I
cleared out their temporary Internet files.
It appears that IE doesn't download the updated .js files. I've tried
inserting blank lines in the file so it appears to be modified. I set
content expiration in IIS to expire immediately on the .js files, then
on the entire site. I also set Response.Cache.SetExpires(DateTime.Now)
on any pages that use the .js files. Still the file is not being downloaded.
I realise this may not be specifically a ASP.NET issue but as it affects
ASP.NET I thought I'd check here to see if anyone else had encountered
this problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this could be fixed?
