VS.Net install crashes on start

Hi,

I've got a small prob with my Visual Studio setup - seems to happen in both
Visual Studio & VS.Net. The inital setup screen comes up, but when I choose
the 1st option (Install Visual Studio in the case of VS.Net, Install
Prerequisites for Visual Studio) a dialog titled 'Installshield' comes up
with 'Command line parameters'. Click okay and the whole setup
closes/crashes/disappears.

I've tried all the parameters none seem to be any use. Any ideas?

Hi Andrew,

You might try uninstalling the prerequisites (.NET and J#) manually and then
reinstalling them manually.

If you still have problems, call Microsoft for support... installation
support calls are usually free.
