I am using ASP.net 2.0 Web Deployment projects to deploy a local machine
ASP.net 2.0 website to another machine running IIS. The deployment project
correctly copies the files to the other machine, but when I choose to deploy
a release version with no debug information the remote machine web site does
not work. It just displays a blank page. If I change the release version of
the Deployment project to also generate debug information and deploy,
everything works fine. I don't want to deploy a debug version to a production
server.
Any ideas on this issue?
