Changing the url.

Hello, are there any ways to change the current url of a frame, without IE
making that ANNOYING clicking noise?

Right now I am using:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!-- Begin
setTimeout('document.location.reload();', 1000);
// End -->
</script>

But this causes a little too much flashing when the page changes.
