My Environment:
VS2005
VS2005 SP1 Installed
3.0 Framework installed
SilverLight 1.0 SDK Installed
I've gotten back into actually coding up some SilverLight demos/projects.
I'm gonna stick with 1.0 right now.
My biggest issue is that the "Cider" xaml designer locks up continuously.
I double click the xaml file, and BOOM, it runs and runs, and I end up going
to Task Manager and killing off VS2005. (<< Boo).
...
Does this Cider thing work? Or is it just the auto-included designer that
kinda works, but nobody uses? (Or some other option?).
Right now, I'm stuck in VS2005 land for production code, so going to VS2008
isn't a (production) option.
...
I've contemplated getting Expression Web, just so I can look at the xaml
files in a designer. (I saw this demonstrated at a UserGroup meeting).
...
But I guess I'm asking what is the deal with the Cider designer........? It
doesn't seem to work at all at times.
