I upgraded a web app with embedded Crystal reports to 1.1 from 1.0. I can
run the beast from my dev environ just fine but when i run on the deployment
machine after installing it, I get two errors that almost alternate:
"QueryInterface for the interface CrystalKeyCodeLib.IKeyDecoder failed."
or
"A crystal Reports job failed because a free license could not be obtained
in the time allocated. More license can be purchased direct from Crystal
Decisions or through the Crystal decisions Online Store."
I can run the app and it's kind of a crap shoot which error I'll get first.
One weird thing i noticed was that the VS2002 had my Crystal Product ID #
and Register # in the About box for VSNET2002.
When I went to view the About box for VSNET2003, there was a different
Product# and no Registration# (I'd never used VS2003 for Crystal before
today). Is the Product# a default one? I opened up the designer and entered
in my "non-expiring" Product Code and Reg # and recompiled the app and
rebuilt the setup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
