Displaying a JDialog without giving it focus

Hi,

in my application (a JFrame) the user can be involved in inputing text
fields that are on the frame. In addition there is a thread in the
background that may trigger an informational non modal JDialog to popup
(owner is the JFrame that the user is working with).

Question: is it possible to display the popup JDialog without giving it
the focus so that the user is not interupted in his inputs on the owner
JFrame?
