Export to Excel

Hello!

I have a web page (dotnet framework 2.0) with a datagrid that works just
fine.
When the user has collected the data, and this is present in the datagrid, I
would like to enable a button for export to Excel.
If possible, I would also like the asp code to format the Excel sheet so it
looks the way I want.

I'm new to the concept of exporting to Excel from asp, so please if somebody
knows how to do this, explain the complete procedure.
Is this possible?!?!

it works the same way as in the current framework, you can write the data
into a datagrid and change the content type to excel so that it formats
correctly in a browser. there are lots of lots of lots of examples about
this on the web.
