Force Framework version 2.0

I'm trying to publish a web site created in visual stidio 2005, 2.0
framework.

My web provider supports 1.1 and 2.0 but it seems to default to 1.1.

Because when i try to access the site, it gives me an error, and at the
bottom it says 1.1
framework.

So how do i force it to use 2.0 ? Can i do this in my web.config file
or something ?
I dont have access to the IIS, so i cant change it through the IIS
directly.
Do i need to contact my web provider so that they can change it to
using 2.0 ?

If you don't have access to the server's IIS console, or cannot run :

aspnet_regiis.exe -s "w3svc/1/ROOT/YourApp"

you'll have to ask your web provider to do it for you.
