Hiding the query string

I have a hyperlink the is
"http://www.mysite.com?feild1=hello&field2=goodbye"

how can i hide the variables being passed to the next page so that all that
is displayed to the user is
"http://www.mysite.com"

Is this possible?

Just encrypt the QS

For what purpose? If it is for security purposes, hiding it from the
browser's address window and status bar aren't going to be enough. You would
have to keep the data on the server or encrypt it somehow.
