How to change background color to fit shape

Hi all,

I'm new in coding (3 days experience) and i occurred some problem.

I doing little project and can't fit background color as i want. i dont know what is best way to explain it so i draw it.

Red color its my actual codding, green color its what i want in result.

in shapes shown below. if someone could give some tips would be great.

I talking about 1st and 3rd color how to create shape to fit it to shape of whole container. Hope i explained good enough, if not please let me know. Thanks!

You may could use a table to get the results you want.
