Java 1.5

Hi all:

Does anyone know when is the java 1.5 scheduled for release ? alpha, beta,
anything!

If someone can point me to a place where i can find such information, i
would appreciate it.
A specific and direct link would be appreciated.
Something like java.sun.com, or jcp.org would be too general, since i
already tried to look for what i want with no luck.

Looks like beta is supposed to come out the end of this year, but that
was as of June so not sure now.

And there is an early access version of the compiler supporting some of the
features available now:

And according to this page (updated only a couple days ago):

There will be new version of the prototype compiler available later this
month.
