Javascript Programming Issue

Hi All,

Here is a weird thing.

I was developing a small spplication here in the office. I downloaded
an interesting script from here:
http://simplythebest.net/scripts/DHTML_scripts/dhtml_script_120.html

Basically it gives cool pop-up info messages during a MouseOver event.

The script basically works fine. However, I have a form where users
can enter new information and it stores it in a MySQL database. Once
it is done, the CGI script re-calls the same routine to re-draw the
page with the new information on it, including the new MouseOver text.

If however, the user clicks anywhere on the screen, even in whitespace,

the Javascript routine breaks giving me either some type of Length
Error or a Missing ";" error.

What the heck? I do not even know where to start looking, and was
wondering if someone would be kind enough to help me through this
thing. I do not even know what code to post, since it is a bunch of
code.......

Please advise......and thanks in advance.

Arthur

And if you posted this a hundred times, this newsgroup is still not a
support forum for scripts you copied from anywhere without understanding
the basics.

That's up to the users as a whole; if you don't like a post, then don't
answer it.

I thought that we'd buried Hunnish hegemonism.
