I'm nearly sure I'm about to reinvent the wheel.
I need a J2ME LocationProvider implementation which talks to a GPS device
(specifically the built in GPS of an IPAQ 65XX, but generically any GPS
device connected via a serial connection) using NMEA. I need it with
licenced under either the GPL (preferred) or other open source licence. I
simply cannot be the first person who has needed such a component.
I've found an NMEA parser here:
http://www.hcilab.org/documents/tutorials/NMEA_Parser/NMEA_Parser.htm
which is at least half the job, but surely someone has already done the
full job?
Any suggestions as to where I should look? I've drawn a blank so far.
