Need query ???

hi.. see

i have query like this

Select name,id,subid from sample where id=@id

here the @id is the parameter ie: get it from Querystring

so here i want to show the images like Green / Red either one

as per conditions ie: i have the other value getit from Database, assume.iegetid

so if the subid = @getid i have to show Green image else show Red Image

I dont want to written the code on Gridview_RowDatabound as its a performance issue , is it possible to do in Query..how give the sample query ?
